Greyton Volunteer Firefighters

Volunteer firefighting team protecting Greyton and the surrounding mountain areas

The Greyton Volunteer Firefighters (GVF) are a dedicated team of community volunteers who protect Greyton and the surrounding mountain areas from wildfire. They work in coordination with the Caledon Fire Command Centre and CapeNature.

In a fire-prone region with fynbos-covered mountains, the GVF plays a critical role in community safety. The Greyton Post regularly reports on fire season updates, GVF training, and their heroic efforts during fire events.

Further information about the GVF, how to volunteer, and how to support them will be added here. Please check back soon.
