The Greyton Post

Your village. Your stories. Your voice.

Community media serves as a robust platform for advertisers, offering a unique opportunity to showcase your business’s distinctive features. Advertising with us not only increases your brand’s visibility among the local community but also leverages the power of digital reach. As the colder months approach, our small towns and villages lean heavily on community support. Make your presence known—tell the community and beyond who you are, where you are, and what you offer.

Advertising opportunities

The Greyton Post is also in print and digitally.  The digital editions are easily readable in a shareable ‘flip book’ style and saved on the website under ‘Issue – Archives’-  Click below to view.

Put Your Business on the Map

The Greyton Post Village Map helps visitors and residents find restaurants, shops, accommodation, services and attractions throughout Greyton. Each numbered dot corresponds with an index listing and contact details, making it easy to discover what our village has to offer.

Secure your business or service location dot for just R300 (including VAT). The map is displayed on the Greyton Post Notice Board in the GreytOak Courtyard, available as a PDF, and forms part of our growing Greyton information resources.

Advertising opportunities are also available on the new Greyton Post website ‘directory’ – includes your own page.  R550 (including VAT) until January 2027. All current issue advertisers have a complimentary 2 month listing on the directory.

Income from advertising in the bi-monthly publication, the map and website helps support The Greyton Post, our community newspaper.

To reserve your dot, add your business to the directory, or enquire about advertising opportunities, please contact us (066 224 6311).

Advert Design Requirements

To ensure your advertisement resonates with your brand and appeals to our readers:

Provide logos in high resolution, either as vector files (PDF, AI, EPS) or in PNG format.

Ensure your text is readable and if you use a QR code that it can be picked up on your advert. It is worth printing your ad even in black and white to check readability for the advert space you have chosen (especially useful for us with challenged eyesight!).

Note that we are a ‘free’ publication and do not have the resources for logo creation or redesign (as much as we would love to). Please contact Colleen at Paperchefs (082 779 2943) for design advice and support – 10% discount for adverts for The Greyton Post.

Photography

For targeted imagery, submit high-resolution photos (300dpi). If you need specific imagery – please contact us as we also have professional photographers within our team.

For small business support or if you need a sounding board for an idea, please contact us as we also have prolific entrepreneurs within our team! (greetings@greytonpost.co.za).

Our online and print publications are free to all and widely distributed, ensuring your message reaches the broadest possible audience. If you have any questions or need guidance in selecting the best advertising solution for your needs, please get in touch. We’re here to help you make the most of your advertising investment with The Greyton Post.
