Greyton Farm Animal Sanctuary

Nestled just 7 km outside Greyton, the Greyton Farm Animal Sanctuary is a registered non-profit organisation dedicated to providing lifelong care for rescued and vulnerable farm animals. Established in 2014 by Nicola Vernon and Rohan Millson, the sanctuary is set on a peaceful 40-hectare farm and has become a safe haven for around 200 animals, including pigs, sheep, goats, cows, geese, chickens, peacocks, ducks, as well as elderly and special-needs dogs and cats.

Every animal at the sanctuary is given the opportunity to live out its life in a safe, caring environment where welfare always comes first. The sanctuary also welcomes supporters who would like to visit, volunteer, sponsor an animal or contribute towards its ongoing work.

The sanctuary is funded primarily by founder Nicola (“Nicky”) Vernon, together with a dedicated community of donors and animal sponsors whose generosity makes this work possible. Over the years, the sanctuary has also received invaluable support from a number of organisations, enabling it not only to care for its resident animals but also to develop community outreach projects that continue to make a positive difference in the wider Greyton area.
