We are delighted to announce that The Greyton Post has been selected as a national finalist in the Photography (Mobile) category of the 2026 AVBOB Forum of Community Journalists (FCJ) Awards of Excellence.
The Awards of Excellence recognise outstanding community journalism from across South Africa. This year, almost 600 entries were judged by a panel of 22 adjudicators, making selection as a finalist a significant achievement.
As a young publication, we are incredibly proud to be recognised on a national stage alongside some of the country’s leading community newspapers.
Photography has always been an important part of The Greyton Post, capturing the landscapes, wildlife, people and moments that make our village and the Overberg such a special place (submission photographs are below).
