It’s been a torrid winter for cycling! By 4pm when we ride, it’s cold and often windy but the enthusiasm of our Juniors never wanes! The bicycles take a hammering from the mud and water so we are grateful to the Overberg Cycling Association for some funds for maintenance.
RA Cycles from Somerset West graciously sent in help for 3 days and put many of our bikes back on the roads. Thanks guys for your time and expertise.
Our amazing ride leaders, Peet and Takunda have both recently become qualified First Aiders! Thank you Red Cross for offering this service — we now know our little people are in much safer hands out there on the trails!
We are constantly in need of basic dressings and plasters, so please remember us when doing your spring cleaning.
