MJ is a fashion designer and creative who has recently swapped Cape Town for Greyton, bringing with him years of experience, an exceptional eye for clothing and a wonderfully individual sense of style.

MJ’s fashion journey began with Lindsay & Lenny Vintage in Sea Point, followed by time in Observatory and later as a resident trader at The Old Biscuit Mill. Years spent working with vintage and second-hand clothing gave him an invaluable understanding of what makes a garment special — beautiful fabrics, quality construction, texture, cut and the character that develops in a well-made piece over time.

That experience now influences his own designs. MJ creates beautifully relaxed, loose-fitting shirts for both men and women, working with natural, earthy colours that feel perfectly at home in Greyton. Comfortable and easy to wear, they have a timeless quality while still being distinctly his own.
