Originally from the United Kingdom, Caroline Denny has found a second home in Greyton, returning to the village whenever she can. Inspired by its natural beauty, creative spirit and strong sense of community, she created Denny-Grey Designs—a distinctive collection of fabrics filled with colour, character and story.

Caroline designs the fabric herself, combining striking portraiture with rich textures and an expressive palette. Each design has its own identity and name – meet Thandiwe, Queen Nala and Martha.

The designs celebrate strength, beauty and individuality, transforming practical home furnishings into captivating works of art. Bold yet elegant, the cushions bring warmth, personality and a sense of storytelling into any interior.

The finished cushions are made locally in collaboration with Grey Woods, the upholsterer based in Heuwelkroon. Their skilled craftsmanship brings Caroline’s fabrics to life, carefully turning each design into a beautifully finished, substantial cushion made to be enjoyed for years to come.

Denny-Grey Designs is a lovely example of creative collaboration: internationally influenced, inspired by Greyton and completed through local craftsmanship. Each cushion is more than a decorative piece—it carries a name, a personality and a story of its own.
