The organising committee of the Greyton Classics for All Festival has reflected on what was its most successful event to date, following a review meeting after the 2026 festival.
Festival Director Coenie Visser congratulated the committee on delivering a highly successful festival, with attendance in May 2026 surpassing all previous ticket sales records. The milestone reflects the festival’s growing reputation as one of the Western Cape’s premier classical music events.
Committee members also reviewed the challenges experienced across their respective portfolios. These areas have been noted, with the aim of implementing improvements to ensure an even smoother and more enjoyable festival experience in the years ahead.
Looking to the future, Visser highlighted the need for increased financial sponsorship to maintain the festival’s high standards and continue attracting some of South Africa’s finest musicians. He thanked the festival’s local sponsors for their valued support and encouraged committee members to identify additional businesses and organisations that may be interested in partnering with the event.
Music lovers can already save the date, with the 2027 Greyton Classics for All Festival scheduled to take place from 7 to 9 May 2027.
