Veronica Sleigh is the creative spirit behind Gypsy Queen Creations, where jewellery becomes a meeting place for art, nature, beauty and energy.

Her distinctive pieces bring together crystals, stones, shells, wood and carefully worked metals. Inspired by Sacred Geometry, each creation explores the sense of harmony and balance found in the natural world. From striking crystal pendants and delicate dragonfly designs to unusual pieces featuring shells and other organic materials, no two creations are quite the same.

Veronica’s journey as a maker began after leaving school, when she trained in jewellery-making at the Ruth Prowse School of Art in Woodstock, Cape Town. There, she developed her creativity as a designer while learning the practical skills and craftsmanship needed to transform raw materials into wearable works of art.

Her curiosity about beauty and balance soon extended beyond jewellery. A growing awareness of how energy moves through the spaces around us inspired Veronica to study interior design and later explore the ancient principles of Feng Shui. These different paths now come together naturally through Gypsy Queen Creations.

Veronica approaches each piece with sensitivity and imagination, allowing the individual character of every crystal, stone or shell to guide the final design. Rather than simply decorating the materials, she creates settings that celebrate their natural colours, textures and forms.
